On the contrary, IMHO, I really don't mind having to put perks in both alchemy and enchanting especially when I'm playing on legendary from the beginning. By Shor, it may even be necessary to put smithing as well. And it could definitely be useful if you're playing an immersive no fast travel build.

However, perk allocation in the alchemy tree, for me, should not go beyond benefactor and poisoner if we're also investing in the enchanting tree. Likewise, only the middle branch of enchanting seems like the only one worth taking if the build has some skill in alchemy. Beyond that, best put it in one handed, archery, and light armor.

this is why I m not suggesting more then one damage output ( i.e one handed and two handed skills or enchanting, alchemy, blacksmithing picked in same build etc..)

Agreed to @calciumstrenght, for example With all proffesion skills, the higher the rating, the better you are at using that skill. Therefore, if you switch from enchanting to alchemy at high level, your alchemy skill will start out too low to make powerful potions against enemies or yourself, similar examples can be given for armor and weapons

I would try and find some way to cut perks to make armsman and overdraw 5/5. They're important for being able to do enough damage to things.
Is it important that the character have both enchanting and alchemy? If you picked one or the other, that would free up some perks.
